The Pacific Northwest is my home and inspiration. I have lived elsewhere only to eagerly return to its lush greens, moody blues, expansive skies, watery horizons.  I'm fortunate to have Mt. Tabor, an inactive volcano, in my backyard to locally feed my imagination, and the Oregon Coast and Mt. Hood within a short drive.

Watercolor is the medium I'm most attracted to given its translucency, movement, changes over time, and simplicity in clean up! However, I do enjoy the ability to layer and create texture with acrylics, inks, oil pastels, and collage.

Regardless of the medium - through my use of colors, marks, and brush strokes - you will see strong elements of nature in each piece.

I sell from my home studio and online.  Feel free to contact me with any questions directly at goodthingsmatter.art@gmail.com
